Wokingham Lions Club

Wokingham Lions Club, an informal club with 30 members, was formed in 1974 and since that date members have given time to raise funds and help the local community – and enjoy a good social life as well.

We are well known for organising The May Fayre each year in the town centre. This enables local charities to promote their own cause and raise funds for themselves. Each year the charity organisations collectively raise an estimated £25,000.

Despite the perceived affluence in the local area, many organisations and individuals desperately need help. In 2010/11 we raised and distributed over £25,000, please see the Club Donations and In the News sections of this website for further details.

Our international motto is "We Serve".
